February 13, 2009—
Blue Square Premier League outfit Weymouth are about to put into motion a plan to sell one million shares at 50p each to raise money to save the club from possible administration or even liquidation.
The club announced the measure on Thursday evening after takeover talks finally collapsed and admitted the players had not been paid in 2009 and the club also owed £300,000.
