Kettering at home to Leeds Utd in FA Cup 2nd Round

Kettering Town have been drawn at home to League One outfit Leeds Utd in the FA Cup 2nd Round following their narrow 1-0 victory over another League One club, Hartlepool Utd in the 1st Round.

Leeds Utd, who currently sit seven points clear at the top of League One, cruised past Oldham Athletic 2-0 at Boundary Park to setup what many Poppies supporters and no doubt Poppies boss Mark Cooper, see as the plum draw of the Second Round.

The FA Cup Second Round ties are due to take place the weekend of Saturday 28th November 2009, with Kettering's match, due to it's being televised live on ITV, having been switched to Sunday 29th November 2009, with an early 1.45pm kick-off.

Poppies boss Mark Cooper was understandably delighted with the 2nd Round draw. "It's a fantastic draw and it will be a fantastic occasion for the club." Cooper added: "Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in the world - you look at their attendances and the following they get all over the world. It's mouthwatering."
