Poppies kick-off pre-season with new faces

Kettering Town open their pre-season fixtures with an away match at Hinckley Utd on Monday with several new faces likely to be included in their lineup.

Poppies fans could get their first looks at recent signings Niall Cooper, Greg Taylor, James Jennings, Francis Green and Damian Spencer as Mark Cooper takes his new look side to the recenlty renamed Greene King Stadium to take on Conference North outfit Hinckley Utd.

Kettering were given a boost by the news that goalkeeper Lee Harper had signed a new contract to remain at the Poppies for the coming season but could lose the influential central defender Guy Branston to League Two newcomers Torquay Utd.
