Poppies kick-off new season away to FGR

In a reversal of the opening day fixture last season, Kettering Town travel to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday 8th August to start the new campaign, quickly followed by their opening home fixture against Oxford Utd at the newly named Elgood's Brewery Arena on Tuesday 11th August 2009.

The Boxing Day - New Year's Day fixtures will be against Tamworth, home on the 26th December and away to start the new year, sandwiched in-between is a visit to Histon on Monday 28th December. The last day of the regular season, Saturday April 29th 2010, Kettering visit Salisbury City.

Some of the remaining more noteworthy fixtures: Kettering host Luton Town on Saturday 29th August and visit the Hatters on 1st December. Newly promoted AFC Wimbledon visit Kettering on Saturday 15th August. Poppies host local rivals Diamonds on 16th January 2010 and make the short return journey up the A6 on Saturday 27th Feb.
