Branston joins Poppies
Mark Cooper's squad was boosted by the addition of new signing Guy Branston, the 29 year-old defender has plenty of Football League experience under his belt and arrived as a free agent following a month's spell at Notts County.
Branston was born in Leicester and started with the Foxes as a trainee, joining Rotherham in 1999 for a transfer fee of £5,000, having been on loan at several League clubs in-between. After leaving Rotherham in 2004 following over 100 appearances, he had spells at Peterborough Utd, Oldham, Rochdale and Northampton Town, before joining Notts County on New Year's Day.
