Conference National expands, but Cup axedThe Conference National will increase it's membership from 22 to 24 clubs for the start of the 2006-07 season, with four clubs being promoted, two each from the Conference North and South divisions. The Conference Cup, revived only last season and won by Woking, has been put back in mothballs and will not be run again for the coming season.
