Poppies crash out of FA Cup
Boreham Wood 1 Kettering Town 0
Kettering Town were unceremoniously dumped out of the FA Cup at the 4th Qualifying Round stage at Meadow Park this afternoon after conceding an 85th minute goal to hosts Boreham Wood. The Poppies' failure to break down their Division One North counterpart's defence even once during the 90 minutes cost them dear as the score at the final whistle finished 1-0 to the Wood.

Poppies secure league win at last
Kettering Town 4 Heybridge Swifts 1
Kettering Town finally managed to secure a much-needed league victory at Rockingham Road last night after a very poor run of five league games without a win and ironically it turned out to be their biggest win of the season so far, but watched by easily their lowest home attendance by some margin.

Passionless Poppies lose at Kingstonian
Kingstonian 1 Kettering Town 0
Kettering went down 1-0 at Kingsmeadow with Kingstonian scoring the winner on 73 minutes. Kettering have now lost 3 of their last 4 league matches and slumped to 13th position in the league table.
A passionless display (as highlighted in the ET report) saw Kettering fall to their fifth defeat of the season never looking likely to earn better than a 0-0 draw and drop into the lower half of the league, barely in the frame for a Conference Division 2 berth at the end of the season.
