Postponed due to frozen pitch
Kettering Town entertain Blue Square Premier League strugglers Grays Athletic this Saturday with manager Lee Harper looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since the middle of October 2009 and incredibly their first league home win since the 26th September 2009. The run of seven home league fixtures during that period has produced just three points from the 21pts possible and has seen them slide down out of the play-off places although last weeks battling 2-0 win at strugglers Barrow saw them regain 7th spot.
The other glaring statistic to come out of that poor home fixture run is the four matches they failed to score a single goal, in fact goalscoring has been one of the club's main problems so far this season going nine league matches without finding the net. Poppies boss Lee Harper is well aware of the goalscoring problem and is trying to address the issue by bringing in a striker, but is of course on a limited budget when it comes to strengthening the squad.
