Lynchy returns to the action

Darren Lynch made a long awaited return to football action on Wednesday night, turning out for Kettering Town Reserves at home to Worcester City Reserves and even scored a goal.

Junior McDougald also provided a boost for the Poppies, scoring the first on 21 minutes. Darren Lynch made it 2-1 to Kettering six minutes later, before being substituted on the hour mark after a slight knock.

The other goalscorers were Steve Goode twice and one from Emmanuel Adeseko in the latter stages to secure a convincing 5-1 victory.
