Hinckley move into 4th spot in table

Hinckley Utd climbed two places into 4th spot after a 3-1 home victory over struggling Leigh RMI on Monday night, aided by a Carl Heggs double.

The Knitters took an early lead when Carl Heggs put them 1-0 up on 12 minutes, but the visitors pegged them back with an equaliser from Daniel Owen on 39 minutes and at half-time it remained 1-1.

Shortly before the hour mark Richard Lavery restored the home advantage and with 6 minutes left Carl Heggs scored his second of the night to wrap up the win and 3pts, moving Hinckley up to 4th spot in the table.
