Harrogate go down 3-2 at home to Hednesford

In tonight's Conference North match at Wetherby Road, 5th-placed Harrogate Town went down 3-2 at home to bottom outfit Hednesford Town, conceding the killer goal in the 89th minute.

The home side took a 1-0 lead on 21 minutes from a goal by Chris Timons, but his team mate Jamie Heard scored an own goal to bring Hednesford back level after 25 minutes.

The visitors then took a narrow 2-1 lead into the break when Colin Hunter scored on 40 minutes for the Pitmen. It took the home side until midway through the second period to reply, Lee Philpott pulled Harrogate back on level terms after 72 minutes.

The visitors weren't done yet though and regained the lead through Scott Hadland on 89 minutes, taking a narrow advantage into the final few seconds and at the full-time whistle the match ended in a dramatic victory for the Pitmen.
