Jeune rules himself out at Kettering

Sep 11th, 2012

Just over one month ago it was announced that Ritchie Jeune was the new interim chairman of Kettering Town Football Club and he duly put forth his plan to move the club forward. Here we are just four weeks later and Jeune has declared himself ‘out’ following a series of events that leaves the future of the club back in serious doubt.

Jeune proposed a ground-sharing with Corby Town until the move back to Kettering could be worked out, but back into the limelight stepped owner Imraan Ladak and his statement made it clear that he was still pulling the strings and Jeune’s short tenure was ended.

A post on twitter stated: “Hope that #KTFC can find away out of this mess and that a new owner is in place soon. As they say in dragons den I’m out.” According to Northants Telegraph sports reporter Jon Dunham, Jeune added: “After the lies that are being told by the current owner and the heir apparent I would not throw my hat in that ring.”
